Steve et al,

Sorry we can’t make it to the 35th, it sounds like it will be fun. Let’s make a date for the 40th in 2005. I’m sure we can organize our affairs in order to be there. Meanwhile we hope you will all have an incredible experience at the 35th gathering.

As for the question of what we have been doing, it has been much the same since we decided to build a boat in 1981. All of our spare time & weekends has been consumed by this project for these past 20 years. We have worked diligently to convert a pile of wood & some glue into a 40-foot trimaran (sailboat) berthed at Treasure Isle Marina on San Francisco Bay. Our mast (which is one of the few things that someone else has built) will be delivered by the beginning of June. We will rig the boat for sailing through the rest of the summer & hope to be enjoying her by the end of the year. Recently we are transitioning from boat builders to sailors (or at least power boaters). The light at the end of the tunnel is shining brightly. Hopefully everyone from the W.C. class of ‘65 has seen their dreams come true whatever they might be.

All The Best !
