HOWELL, Dallas R. age 82, of Wapakoneta, died March 28, 2006, at Hospice of Dayton. He was born Nov. 8, 1923, in Goes, OH, to the late Loma & Agnes (Havermehl) Howell. He married Carole R. Greubmeyer, and she survives. Other survivors include, 1st wife, Betty Bramblette Howell, West Carrollton, OH, 2 sons, Richard (Nancy), Dayton, Clyde (Patricia), Cortez, CO, 2 granddaughters, Emily (Gordon) Fields & Ericka (James) Masters, 3 great grandchildren, Kyle & Keri Masters, & Raeanne Fields, 4 step-children, 6 step-grandchildren & 11 step-great grandchildren, a brother, James Howell, Cabot, AK, a sister, Beulah (William) Stinebaugh, Wapakoneta. Mr. Howell retired as a tool & die maker with General Motors, Dayton, after 37 years service. He was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W. II, having served in the Pacific Theatre. A member of the Wapakoneta V.F.W., Post #8445, he was also a member of the American Legion Post #241, New Bremen. His hobbies included woodworking, building things, landscaping & working in the yard.
